Resources for Undocumented Students

The Maryville College Latino Student Alliance welcomes all Hispanic students and allies to participate in social/cultural activities and advocacy projects regardless of citizenship status.

The Maryville College community welcomes all undergraduate applicants regardless of citizenship status. Undocumented students, with or without, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, who apply to Maryville College are treated equally to any other U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Students who are undocumented or have DACA status should follow the same application process as first-year or transfer domestic students. There is no application fee for undocumented or DACA or because they apply as domestic students.

Maryville College has partnered with Equal Chance for Education to provide scholarships to young undocumented students living in East Tennessee. Students must be admitted to Maryville College and submit an application to Equal Chance for Education. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, have a clear career goal, and commit to paying $4,000 per academic year. For more information, see equalchanceforeducation.org.
