Art Reception for Chloe Wack & Shannon Ferguson

The Division of Fine Arts featured artists for October are Chloe Wack and Shannon Ferguson. They have a display entitled “Girl Lunch” on display in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Blackberry Farm and William “Ed” Harmon Galleries. A reception will be held in the galleries on Thursday, October 30th from 6-8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.

“Girl Lunch” is a mixed-media exhibition featuring work made both individually and collaboratively including animations, prints, and quilts. “Girl Lunch” represents the moments of restoration and replenishment sought during a busy day when you can find camaraderie, commiseration, or inspiration through shared friendship -all while trying to get your protein in. We hope viewers will find their own moments of softness, humor, and relaxation in seeing the shared work.
