First-Time College Student Pathways
Most first-time students:
- Summer SOAR
- New Scots Orientation (earns 1 credit hour to be used when needed)
- First Year Seminar (3-credit fall semester course)
First-time students over the age of 21, veterans, student parents, and other non-traditional students:
- Summer SOAR
- Choose:
- New Scots Orientation (earns 1 credit hour to be used when needed)
- NSO Fast Track
- First Year Seminar (3-credit fall semester course)
Transfer Student Pathways
Transfer students with less than 12 college credit hours:
- Summer SOAR
- New Scots Orientation (earns 1 credit hour to be used when needed)
- First Year Seminar (3-credit fall semester course)
Transfer students with at least 12 college credit hours:
- Summer SOAR
- Choose:
- New Scots Orientation (earns 1 credit hour to be used when needed)
- NSO Fast Track plus Transfer Orientation 120 (1-credit fall semester course)
