In light of COVID-19’s impact on Maryville College activities and how this public health situation is affecting Tennessee, the United States, and the globe, Tartan Tuesday is postponed until May 5.

After conferring with colleagues throughout the College, we feel this is the best and most prudent course of action. We look forward to celebrating a successful 1,819 minutes of giving later this spring. Please stay tuned as we share our new dates.

The needs and safety of our students, faculty, and staff are our top priority right now. The Maryville College COVID-19 response website is updated regularly to include evolving guidance for the College community.

Gifts to the College allow Scots to serve where we’re needed most. If you still wish to make your gift, we are grateful for your support and will count your contribution towards Tartan Tuesday 2020 totals.

Tartan Tuesday 2020 is Maryville College's fifth college-wide giving challenge. During this special challenge,  members of the MC community can join together and show how much they care about Maryville College by making donations to the Maryville Fund, the College's top annual giving priority.

Be sure to connect with Maryville College on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and join us for interactive social media challenges and real time updates.

Why does my participation in Tartan Tuesday matter?

Making a donation on Tartan Tuesday is not about how much you can or cannot give. It’s about participation – finding a way to be a part of this historic day! Gifts of every size make a real difference every day at Maryville College, but on Tartan Tuesday, your gift can go even further by attracting additional funds, as we work to unlock challenge funds throughout the day.

Where do my Tartan Tuesday gifts go?

Any gift, regardless of size or designated fund, made to Maryville College on March 30 and March 31 will be counted.

Can I make a pledge for Tartan Tuesday?

Is it safe to make my gift online?

Absolutely. The information collected during the event is only used by Maryville College, and will not be sold or shared with any third parties. Your credit card information will not be stored.

Besides making a donation, how can I help make Tartan Tuesday a success?

Wear your best orange and garnet on March 30th and 31st, and help us spread the word about Tartan Tuesday in your own network. Post, tweet, link, and share messages encouraging those in your network to share their Fighting Scots Pride on March 30th and 31st!  Use the hashtag #TartanTuesdayatMC, and be sure your post is set to the Public setting.
