Blountville, TN: Old Deery Inn Gardening Day

The team will be working in the back quarters of the Old Deery Inn – an 1800s residence, general store, post office, tavern, and stagecoach stop in Blountville TN. This house museum includes seven dependency buildings in the back quarters, with log cabins (relocated) from the mid-1700s, kitchens representing 1810 and 1820, a smoke house, etc.
As with last year we will have a number of Master Gardeners on-site to update and develop multiple sites as well as individuals restoring/replacing floor sills in the mid-1800 law office converted to a school. Please join us if you can… we have plenty of gloves to share!
