Six Years of Worldwide Service.
150 Years of Alumni Engagement.
KT Global calls on alumni to connect through service in the spirit of Kin Takahashi by giving back in their own communities, wherever they may live.
Over the last five years, hundreds of MC alumni have given more than 7,000 hours of service around the world. This year is extra special as we also celebrate 150 years of the Maryville College Alumni Association and deep alumni commitment to the College.

2026 Call to Action
In honor of the 150th anniversary of the MC Alumni Association, we are calling on alumni to spend 150 minutes in service during the month of April 2026. This can be with other alumni in your area, with friends and family, or independently in your community. However you see a need to serve can be part of KT Global!
Current planned projects are listed below. Click on the photo or name to learn more and sign up! Keep checking back as new projects are being posted daily. Don’t see a project in your area or want to add your project here? Please email the Alumni Office to learn more about how to add your project, report independent service, connect with fellow alumni, and more.
Already complete your service? Thank you and great work! Please complete the KT Global Participation Form to submit your hours and share about your service project.

Who is Kin Takahashi and why is KT Global relevant to Maryville College?
Kin Takahashi was a Maryville College student from Japan in the 1890s. He is legendary among the MC community for his “can-do” spirit as he founded the College’s first football team (bringing the sport of football to East Tennessee) and led a project to build Bartlett Hall as a student center and first YMCA on a college campus. Kin Takahashi has created a legacy of service inspiring MC students, faculty, staff, and alumni to seek similar service opportunities to benefit their alma mater and communities such as KT Days, KT Weekend, and now KT Global.
