Prospective educators learn about and use a variety of research-based models of instruction. Implications of these models as they relate to classroom instruction are made explicit. Current trends and issues in instructional design are explored. Integral components of the course include peer-teaching, microteaching, field observations and analysis of videotaped lessons in traditional and/or virtual settings.
