Angela Quick joined the faculty at Maryville College as Director of the Lamar Memorial Library in 2003. She holds an MA in Library and Information Science from Simmons University (1995) and a BA in History from Northwestern University (1989).
Ms. Quick coordinates librarians, library services, and information resources to support Maryville College’s mission, each of the College’s programs of study, faculty teaching, and students’ skill development and success. She enjoys showing students, faculty and staff the library’s research tools and information resources. The only thing she loves more than reading a good book is talking about it with others. As Chair of the Educational Resources Committee, Ms. Quick is investigating ways to make student learning resources more affordable and easier to access.
Before coming to Maryville College, Ms. Quick worked as Public Services Coordinator & Reference Librarian at Carthage College, Kenosha, WI; Information Specialist at C. Berger and Company in Carol Stream, IL; Interlibrary Loan & Public Services Assistant at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA; and Music Library Aide at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
