Bridger Dyson-Smith is the Electronic Resources Librarian for Lamar Memorial Library. He holds an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Tennessee’s School of Information Science (2007) and a BA in History from Emporia State University (1999).
Before coming to Maryville College, Bridger worked in the content management unit at Sage Publishing. Prior to Sage, Bridger spent 13 years working in a range of different areas for the University of Tennessee Libraries’ Digital Initiatives department.
Bridger enjoys working with descriptive metadata and has a passion for information access and discoverability, and he is thrilled to manage electronic resources here at Lamar Memorial Library.
