Marina Jaffe is the Collection Management Librarian for the Maryville College Library. She has worked in the Maryville College Library since 2004. Marina holds a Bachelor of Music in Oboe performance from Oberlin Conservatory and has performed locally since 2007, including several performances at the Clayton Center for the Arts and Wilson Chapel.
Before working at Maryville College, Marina acquired twelve years of library experience working as a Circulation Supervisor and Acquisitions Librarian at Western New England University, The Springfield, Massachusetts Public Library, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Engineering Library located in the World Trade Center.
Marina manages the library’s print collection, including book selection and cataloging, as well as Circulation, Reserves, and Interlibrary Loan Services. She has also trained and supervised ten to fifteen library assistants per year and has enjoyed having the privilege of mentoring and working with our wonderful students.
