Associate Professor and Research & Instruction Librarian

Mr. Myers is a research and instruction library at Maryville College.  He holds a M.S. in Library Science from the University of Tennessee (1993) and a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Tennessee (1985).  Mr. Myers joined the faculty at Maryville College in 1995.

Mr. Myers’ work focuses on teaching students skills for finding, retrieving, and evaluating information.  He can be found teaching in a variety courses across the curriculum.  He is studying and implementing technologies to deliver research instruction online.  Mr. Myers is also the administrator of the Lamar Memorial Library’s web site.

Mr. Myers is also a First-Year Advisor and teaches the first-year seminar course, LGBTQIAA Lives in America.
