Celebrated his 89th birthday this past August. He graduated from Wheaton College in 1960, with a Bachelors of Divinity. He is living in Fort Meyers, FL and is thankful to be active in his local church. He enjoyed his years at Maryville College and fondly remembers his time in a capella choir, friends he made on campus and being able to have a major in German, which was not commonly available at many colleges during his time on campus. While in the Air Force he met and married a wonderful woman, Hildegard and they were able to do evangelstic work for quite a few years together. He finds joy in every day of living!

Carol Lee is truly a treasure! She is the most positive person I have ever known and her presence elevates the spirit of the people around her. She is the consummate volunteer, exemplifying the spirit that motivates our volunteers. Since January 2012 she has reported 1,300+ hours of volunteer service. Carol Lee has been an active volunteer since January of 2012, when she and her husband moved to Westminster Palms. Up until December of 2011 she was on the Westminster Communities of Florida Board of Directors (for 2-3 years). Carol Lee has been on numerous WP committees since moving into the community, including Resident Council, Library, Gift Shop, Choir, Caring Companions, Welcoming and The Green Committee. Carol Lee is one of our go-to volunteers and is always willing to assist when asked & whenever possible! Carol Lee is also a generous caretaker of her neighbors and she inspires and recruits others to volunteer! Her most recent (and a huge contribution) has been the development and facilitation of a very well attended weekly ?Sunday Morning Fellowship? in our Health Center (attracting ?standing room only? crowds from all 3 levels of care in and even some family members). Here are a few quotes lifted from several of Carol Lee?s nomination forms: – ?always ready to assist? – "a wonderful help in time of need!? – "our ambassador of good cheer and kindness!" In addition, over the years Carol Lee has also volunteered widely in the external community, including local schools, church & theaters, organizing St. Pete High School & college reunions, The Salvation Army, Hospice and Ronald McDonald House.
