was accepted to the Industrial/Organizational Psychology masters program at Austin Peay to start in spring 2015.

is currently interpreting at Pellissippi State Community College and Visual Communication Interpreting (VIC) in Knoxville and East Tennessee. In the past Houston has interpreted at Maryville College and mentored interpreting students in work study jobs while a student.

Josh Hunley’s Homeschool Lady Unicorns ultimate frisbee team placed 9th in the nation in June while competing at an invite-only national high school tournament in Rockford, Illinois Sponsored By UP Cleats and Discraft.

recently took a job as the Grundy Safe Communities Coalition Coordinator. They are a coalition that targets underage drinking, tobacco use, and non medial prescription drug use in Grundy County.

Mary Moates ’14 has been named Associate Director of Publicity at Crown Publishing, a high profile imprint of Penguin Random House that has published bestselling books by the Obamas, Volodymyr Zelensky, and many more esteemed world voices. She is married to Dr. Rev. Jordan Tarwater ’13. They live in New York City.

Marietta College announced the hiring of Kristy Newman ’14 as the Pioneers’ new head volleyball coach. Newman becomes the 12th head coach in program history. The Mountain Six Conference has named Joe Pinkston ’14 as All-Conference Coach of the year for his work with the Pisgah (NC) High School girls soccer team.

David White ’14 will be attending Colorado State University in the fall to pursue a Master’s of Science in Computer Science focusing on Machine Learning.

David graduated with his Ph.D. in computer science from Colorado State University in May 2022. He is now an applied scientist at Amazon, doing research on machine learning and computer vision. David and his wife, Kat McNeely-White (’17), recently moved to West Sacramento, CA.

Kelly graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2017 with an MA in Linguistic Theory and Typology. During her time there she presented her work at several national conferences and an international conference in Sarajevo. She also taught Linguistics, Rhetoric, and Communication courses as a primary instructor. Most recently, she was asked to lead a three hour workshop at the Linguistics Society of America Summer Institute, a month-long, biannual gathering of the field. This workshop (
