Class of 2012
Mr. Nathanial Jericho Bishop, age 32, of Dalton, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Clayton Winters, Sr., and James Franklin Bishop:
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Allen Green: father and stepmother, Rodney and Gina Bishop: sisters and brother in law, Jessica and David Grafton, Kristen Bishop: stepbrothers and sister in law, Ben and Kayla Patterson, Dustin Patterson: grandmothers, Barbara Winters and Effie Bishop. niece and nephew, Skylar and Des. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Class of 2012
Alexander Kurt Lloyd, formerly known as Tabatha Kathleen Lloyd, 25 of Knoxville, passed away on September 27th 2015 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Kurt is survived by his father and step-mother James and Tabitha Lloyd; his brother Christopher Shafer, and siblings R.L., Gracie, and Chloe Lloyd; and his grandparents Genevieve Spurgeon, Raymond and Jo Lloyd; and by his aunts and uncles Kevin and Deb Spurgeon, Louis and Misty McGill, and Courtney and Chan Smith. He is predeceased by his mother Stacey Kathleen Spurgeon. Kurt received his GED at 17. He graduated summa cum laude from Pellissippi State Community College in 2008 with an associate's degree in chemistry. He graduated magna cum laude from Maryville College in 2012 with a degree in history and a minor in art history and was inducted into Alpha Gamma Sigma honor scholarship society. He was pursuing a master's degree at the University of Tennessee's School of Information Science and was working as Computer Trainer at the Clinton Public Library. Kurt was an amazing person and was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was very active in supporting the LGBT Community. He was an active member of the local chapter of the SCA.
