I have worked in the Admissions Office at Maryville College for 36 years.
I’m not sure there was a typical day in the Admissions Office. Working with an amazing Admissions team to recruit potential MC students and future alumni.
Being nominated and selected by my peers for the Outstanding Staff Award.
MC provided a broad education and the tools to be successful and to accept change in life.
The biggest change is in technology. We didn’t have computers when I started working at MC 36 years ago. Also, the student body has grown. The College campus becomes more beautiful with each passing year!
Friends. We shared so much growing up together during our four years at MC. Created life-long friends!

My daughters, Jennifer and Whitney. Jennifer graduated from MC and Whitney graduated from another small, liberal arts college, Moravian College. Both are successful and have wonderful families of their own.
Travel to as many National Parks as I can.
Travel, spend more time with family, especially my grandsons, hiking and genealogy.
