Bradford Scholars

The Bradford Scholars, part of the Community Engaged Scholars program, gives financial assistance to students who contribute to local literacy improvement efforts by volunteering in the Blount County area. Scholars are required to do 6 hours per week and will complete 90 hours of service by the end of a semester. This scholarship awards $4,000 per year.

Additional Activities

Bradford Scholars are required to participate in Community Engaged Scholar activities, such as monthly reflection meetings. The Community Engaged Scholars program uses the curriculum provided by The Corella and Bertrum F. Bonner Foundation for on-campus development and trainings with all Community Engaged Scholars.
