Louisville, KY: Bellewood & Brooklawn Donation Sorting

Project Leaders: Amanda Sparrow Black ’09 and Joe Gunter ’07

Volunteers will help to organize donations and clean the clothing closet/donation center at Bellewood & Brooklawn’s campus in Louisville. This project will include sorting through clothing, toys, games, hygiene products, etc, and putting them in the correct areas and disposing items no longer needed.

Bellewood & Brooklawn provides trauma informed behavioral health and family services for children, teens, and families across Kentucky. They help young people and caregivers find stability after adversity, including experiences of abuse, neglect, and other significant stressors. Our continuum of care includes residential treatment, therapeutic foster care and adoption, community based programs, and outpatient therapy options when available.
