“The music ensembles are so excited to be able to once again celebrate the upcoming holiday season by presenting ‘A Maryville Christmas’ for our community,” said Stacey Wilner, director of choral activities and senior lecturer in music at MC. “For this year’s concert, each ensemble has chosen some of their favorite selections to share. The MC Concert Choir will begin the program with a setting of Irish composer Michael McGlynn’s ‘Media Vita,’ complete with chimes and a candlelight processional. The program will end with a sing-along with the performers, and there will be a variety of music to enjoy in between.”
