Maryville College student Baylee Suit ’24 will present a senior vocal recital at 6 p.m. Oct. 26. Free and open to the public, it will take place in the Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall of the Clayton Center for the Arts, located on the MC campus.

The program will include selections by Handel, Debussy, Chausson, Schubert and more. Suit’s presentation of the works will include a variety of vocal styles, with selections from operas, Golden-age musicals and art songs.

Kate Wogoman will serve as the collaborative pianist.

“The repertoire chosen for this recital expresses a multitude of emotions I’ve experienced throughout my four-and-a-half years at Maryville College,” Suit said. “This program is a journey through love and loss, yearning and hope, and the appreciation of the music that has not only changed my life for the better, but also allows me to look forward for opportunities to come.”

Suit, a Vocal Music major from Sevierville, Tennessee, is a 2019 graduate of Sevier County High School.
