Campus Store
The MC Campus Store (known traditionally as “The Bookstore”) is located on the ground level of Bartlett Hall. Hours are 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, with special hours on Saturdays for football games and/or special events. Market at MC
Located in the Lobby of Pearsons Hall, the Market offers snacks, beverages, assorted groceries, beauty and hygiene products, as well as hot and cold grab and go items. General hours are Sunday 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m., and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.. When students are on breaks and during the summer, please check the Fresh Ideas dining website for hours.
Textbooks / Course Materials
Students will have the option for textbooks and other materials to be delivered directly to their Residence Halls or the campus store prior to the start of classes. All items will automatically be billed to the student account each semester. There is additional shipping charges for those opting to have textbooks and materials shipped to home addresses. Students will have the opportunity to opt out of the program or elect to purchase books rather than renting. Once opted out, the student will be responsible for purchasing books elsewhere or on the MC/Slingshot website. The MC Campus Store will not carry books for purchase during the semester. Automatic emails will be sent to students with instructions on how to access digital materials a few days prior to the start of classes.

- Risk‑free for 7 days from the start of class: return any unwanted items (including digital) for a full refund.
- After 7 days: prorated refunds apply.
- Already own a book? Return the duplicate within the first 7 days.
- Add a class: materials ship automatically.
- Drop a class: return materials within 7 days to avoid fees.
- Want to buy instead of rent? Update your preference anytime.
- Keeping a rental? You’ll be charged the difference at semester’s end.
- If you opt out, you can still purchase through Slingshot using your own payment method.
- Access eBooks under My Course Materials in your Slingshot account.
- You’ll receive an email when they’re available.
- eBooks expire automatically after the course ends.
- Slingshot charges appear on your student account.
- A $200 placeholder appears on fall/spring bills and is replaced with actual charges after census date (about 10 days into the term).
- Any remaining balance will be communicated to the student with a due date.
- Return rentals to the Campus Store or use a free prepaid shipping label.
- Late or unreturned items result in a non‑return charge, and the book becomes yours.
