MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Receive admission into Maryville College
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using Maryville College’s code 003505.
  • Must live on-campus to receive at least $20,000 in scholarships and aid.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

By completing the free admission application, sending your transcripts and optional test scores, and being accepted into Maryville College, you are automatically eligible for the Scots Legacy Award. No additional scholarship or financial aid application is required unless you apply for Competitive Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards.

Students who send in additional transcripts and/or test scores that would qualify them for higher merit scholarships will receive the largest scholarship amount they are eligible to receive.

Students who choose to live or move off-campus will be re-awarded to the off-campus merit scholarship amount. Please see the Financial Aid page for the comparison of on-campus versus off-campus merit scholarship amounts.

Students who receive additional state and federal aid from the FAFSA as well as those who apply and compete for Maryville College competitive scholarships, fellowships and awards will have opportunities to stack on top of the Scots Legacy Award or the Scots Legacy Award will be replaced with the highest merit scholarship you are eligible to receive.

Maryville College is a private institution and does not differentiate its tuition and fees for in-state or out-of-state students.

Yes! All accepted students who choose to live on-campus will be eligible, regardless of citizenship status. In addition, Maryville College has partnered with Equal Chance for Education to provide additional scholarship opportunities to DACA and undocumented students.

Yes! All accepted students who choose to live on-campus will be eligible, regardless of citizenship status. In addition, Maryville College offers scholarships specifically for international students.

Students who continue to be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) and maintain academic progress toward a degree completion will continue to receive funding.
