Center for Global Engagement (CGE)
The Center for Global Engagement at Maryville College exists to empower our students to become globally conscious citizens. We believe that meaningful, immersive international experiences are fundamental to a comprehensive education, fostering intercultural understanding and preparing students for success in an interconnected world.
Our mission is to integrate global perspectives into the fabric of campus life and curriculum through five key areas:
- Global Learning, Education Abroad Programs and Advising: Offering and supporting transformative, high-quality, and affordable international learning experiences
- International Student Services & Support: Ensuring the success and integration of our international student community
- International Admissions & Recruitment: Cultivating a global student body
- Global Engagement/Cultural Programming: Creating opportunities for cross-cultural exchange on campus
- Sustainable Travel Initiatives: Promoting responsible and sustainable global engagement
