The Scots Learning Commons (SLC) centralizes many programs and services supporting academic success in Thaw Hall. The SLC is designed to provide inviting gathering places and engaging programming to foster a sense of belonging, community, and support. Staff is available to assist students in Getting Personalized Support (GPS). If you are unsure of where to go for information, start at the GPS Desk located in the Scots Learning Commons on the first floor of Thaw Hall. The SLC provides spaces for both group and individual study as well as basic office supplies housed at the GPS Desk.
The Scots Learning Commons is open Sunday from 3:00pm to 12:00am, Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 12:00am, and Fridays from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours for departments housed within the Scots Learning Commons can be found below. All departments within the Scots Learning Commons are currently closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Study Space Reservations
Study spaces are free to reserve for students, faculty, and staff. We recommend reserving a study space for groups of five or more. Visit the GPS Desk or click the button below to reserve a space! Chalk boards and rolling monitors are available upon request.
