Scholarships & Awards for First-Year Students

string(10) "first-year"

College decisions should be about your fit and feel and knowing you belong, not just about cost. At Maryville College, for over 200 years, we have historically awarded generous scholarship and financial aid packages. As we continue to invest in our students, we are excited to increase our current on-campus scholarships. Our on-campus scholarships range from $16,000 to full-tuition! Become a Scot and join the Legacy that is Maryville College!

Scholarships are awarded based on academic information, student interest, student leadership and/or talent. In instances where a candidate qualifies for more than one scholarship, the student will receive the largest scholarship for which they are eligible. Institutional merit scholarships and grants are applicable to tuition and, in some cases, fees. The College reserves the right to adjust the financial assistance previously awarded when these awards in combination with other sources of assistance exceed the cost of tuition and fees, including BUT not limited to Veterans Affairs educational benefits, external awards and state scholarships and grants. Institutional scholarships and grants are generally awarded for full-time enrollment. Exceptions to the awarding policy MAY include need based federal and/or state aid as determined by the director on a case-by-case basis.

Students who have completed a Maryville College application can access and apply for competitive scholarships directly through their MaryVille Portal (MVP).
