If the Counseling Center is closed, Uwill is a free mental health service provided by Maryville College for free virtual teletherapy for students. Students are able to choose their therapist based on preferences such as gender, language, ethnicity, or focus area. Uwill also provides a 24/7/364 helpline for those students who are experiencing a mental health crisis or some level of distress. Uwill is a great alternative for students who would prefer virtual therapy rather than coming to the Counseling Center on campus. They can also help with breaks and when students return home over the summer. Students will receive more information and instructions for how to sign up.
