Proof of Funding for I-20
International students must provide financial evidence showing that they or a sponsor have sufficient funds to cover the cost of attendance for at least one year of study at Maryville College before we can issue the Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant Student Status (I-20). The I-20 is the form you will use to apply for a U.S. student visa.
Most students need to show from $32,500 to $43,000 in available funding depending on scholarship amount per year. To see US dollar conversion to your own currency please use the following link: https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/
While Maryville College does offer generous scholarships for international students (between $15,000 – $26,000 merit scholarships, with some competitive scholarships that are higher), if a student is not able to submit evidence of financial stability it is best to look elsewhere for his/her choice of study.
We do not offer “full ride” scholarships that cover tuition, fees, room and board.

Note about Payment of Tuition & Fees:
All students will be expected to pay tuition, fees, room and board for the first semester prior to arrival (August 1 for Fall and December 16 for Spring) . You will receive information on your billing statement from the Business Office. For fall and spring semesters, you will get your bill through our Highalander Hub. You will be able to login once your MC email is activated.
Expect to pay the tuition for future semesters in advance of the next semester. For example, tuition for the following semester is due about six weeks before classes begin; for fall semester, it is generally the first week of August and for spring semester, the first week of December.
For F-1 degree-seeking students, it may be possible to make monthly payments towards your tuition and fees.
